If you are a new shooter and want to get the basics down before taking your concealed carry class then this is the class for you. Cost is only $40 and you will receive a $25 voucher off your next class, including your concealed carry class! No gun? No problem! You may use our 22lr with ammunition at no additional cost. Must be 18 years old to attend this course.

Course Description:
NSSF’s First Shots program is the perfect introduction for anyone new to firearms. Whether you’ve never touched a gun before or just want a safe, supportive environment to learn the fundamentals, this class covers everything you need to get started.

Students will receive a hands-on introduction to safe gun handling, basic marksmanship, range etiquette, and firearm operation — all under the guidance of a certified instructor. This course is designed to build confidence and help new shooters experience the enjoyment of target shooting in a professional, safety-focused setting.

All necessary firearms, ammunition, eye/ear protection, and targets are provided. Students will also receive educational materials and a $25 NSSF reward coupon to use toward future training.

Topics Covered:

• Firearm safety and the four universal safety rules

• Proper handling, loading, and unloading procedures

• Range commands and etiquette

• Fundamentals of marksmanship (grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control)

• Live fire under direct supervision

Duration: 1 hour classroom instruction followed by 2 hours of range instruction. Course is taught on select Sunday’s from 1pm-4pm
Tuition: $50 (includes range fee, firearm use, ammunition, and materials)
Experience Level: No prior experience required — perfect for beginners!
